As a trauma-informed care agency, we strive to create a safe environment of trusting relationships and a culture of hope and healing where everyone can thrive. Today, we are proud to serve over 24,000 clients annually across nine counties in Central Pennsylvania.

Helping Our Smallest Neighbors Find Their True North

TrueNorth’s Children’s Services are designed to meet kids exactly where they are—whether that is in the home, at school, or in a specialized therapeutic setting. Your support helps fund life-changing programs like:

• The Amazing Kids Club: A year-round therapeutic social skills program specifically for children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder or Social Pragmatic Communication Disorder.

• School-Based Therapy: Bringing mental health professionals directly into schools to support students in a familiar, accessible environment.

• Family-Based Services: Intensive, community-based counseling that works to keep families together and prevent the need for out-of-home placements.

• Functional Family Therapy: Helping teens and their families build healthy communication and coping strategies to succeed at home and in the community

• Intensive Behavioral Health Services: This program focuses on stabilizing symptoms and behaviors and transferring skills to the child’s natural support system.

The Power of Your Donation TrueNorth is participating in the Give Local York Day of Giving from April 30 at 7pm to May 1 at 7pm. By participating in my personal fundraiser, your gift goes further! Donating during these 24 hours helps TrueNorth Wellness Services unlock "stretch pools" and bonus sponsor funds—exponentially increasing the impact of every dollar you give toward children's mental health.
