The Junior League of York is a 95-year-old organization of women whose mission is to advance women's leadership for meaningful community impact through volunteer action, collaboration, and training. With the support of almost 100 members, we have proudly contributed more than 1.4 million dollars and thousands of volunteer hours to the York community.

Addressing the needs of York since 1930, we are the driving force behind identifying areas of concern and initiating projects that make our community stronger. Over the years, we have tackled many social issues, and through the funding and volunteers of the League, 100 community programs have benefited. Our most recent focus area was women and children impacted by substance use. After member education and a grant application process, we awarded a $20,000 grant to WellSpan Foundations Pregnancy Support Services to support their programming.

In Spring 2024, we formally adopted Food Insecurity as our current Community Impact focus area. We currently have strong relationships with York County Food Bank and Catholic Harvest Food Pantry, as well as other local community partners who are focused on providing food resources for our friends and neighbors across York County.

As part of the Association of Junior Leagues International, we offer our membership and leadership access to invaluable training resources, including national conferences with other Leagues from across the country. We are unique in combining community impact with leadership development. With YOUR support, we look forward to continuing to develop the potential of women in York. Please support our efforts during Give Local York. Thank you!
