“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.” – Margaret Mead
At Leadership York, we see this come to life every day.
Through our mission to train, connect, and inspire individuals to serve the York community in leadership positions, we've watched thousands of people step forward with courage, compassion, and a desire to make a difference. What begins as a single experience often grows into a lifetime of service, shaping organizations, strengthening neighborhoods, and building a more connected York County.
Behind that impact are the people who help guide the journey.
For the past 10 years, Wilda Reahm and Kraig Hursh have been at the heart of Leadership York. Their dedication, encouragement, and belief in others have helped shape hundreds of leaders who continue to give back in meaningful ways. Their influence can be seen not just in the individuals they have worked with, but in the ripple effect those individuals create throughout our community.
This year for Give Local York, we invite you to be part of that continued impact.
Every gift supports the experiences that challenge, connect, and inspire leaders. Every gift helps ensure that the work Wilda and Kraig have championed continues to grow.
In honor of their 10 years of service, consider giving $10 or increasing your gift by $10. It is a simple gesture that carries forward something much bigger.
Because when you invest in leadership, you invest in the future of our community.
Leadership York’s mission is to train, connect, and inspire individuals to serve the York community in leadership positions.
Since 1978, Leadership York has been the county’s primary resource for cultivating informed and engaged leaders who help our community grow and thrive.
With more than 4,600 graduates across seven programs, our alumni impact over 250 nonprofit organizations and represent thousands of constituents in state and local government.
Leadership York is committed to making leadership education accessible for everyone. Funding helps us offer scholarships, enhance our program experiences, and continue building a strong, connected network of leaders who make York County better. Every contribution fuels leadership growth in our community.
