The York Suburban Education Foundation (YSEF) seeks to enrich the education of all York Suburban students by providing opportunities and resources for personal and academic growth and success. Every year YSEF offers grants to our teachers to fund educational experiences the meet student needs. YSEF has awarded 197 grants totaling $573,622 to teachers, administrators and students since inception in 2008. YSEF is building student leaders through our Impact committee of students, active since 2015, who seek to meet the needs of YS students through their building-level Impact closets that are filled with school supplies, clothing and personal items made available at no cost to all students attending each school. The Impact students along with community volunteers run a food pantry and closet to provide food and clothing supplements to existing YS families.

YSEF fills the gaps between the community and the educational process to foster innovation, inclusivity, and transformative learning experiences to develop the future leaders of our community and beyond.
