The York Suburban Education Foundation (YSEF) strives to Empower our students, inspire our teachers, and positively impact our community by supporting our food insecure students and families.
The York Suburban Education Foundation has been here serving those in need. Our Impact Closet and Food Pantry programs are up-to-the-moment providing our hardest-hit students and their families with food, personal hygiene essentials and household supplies.
The York Suburban Education Foundation (YSEF) is an independent, nonprofit organization providing funding for innovative programs that enhance the educational experience and foster continued academic excellence for our district students.
Every year YSEF offers grants to our teachers and YS community to fund new equipment, educational experiences and to meet student needs. YSEF has awarded 163 grants totaling $466,318.04 to teachers, administrators and students since its inception in 2008.
The Impact Foundation (IF), a student committee of the York Suburban Education Foundation (YSEF) formed in the fall of 2015. Student and community volunteers have constructed Impact Closets within all six of the York Suburban School District buildings. These Impact Closets are filled with school supplies, clothing and personal items made available at no cost to all students attending each school.
