Our Schedule for Friday, May 2nd

Join us for "Walk & Talk with a Doc" featuring Brooke Lasher, PA-C from our Hannah Penn School-Based Health Center! We're meeting at noon the parking lot at West Philadelphia Street and Pershing Avenue in downtown York behind the Colonial Courthouse. Brooke will present a short wellness presentation, and then we'll walk and talk on the rail trail, learning more about our school-based health programming. Join us for this fun, NEW activity!

Come celebrate with us at our "Booth on Beaver" in downtown York on North Beaver Street near Market Street from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. for First Friday!

Want another way to support us for Give Local York? Make a donation of hygiene products at our friends at The Glass Turtle Studio (118 E King Street in Royal Square in York). We are accepting items to support the health and wellbeing of students who use our health centers. Items include shampoo, body wash, deodorant, and feminine hygiene products. You can drop off donations during their hours of Wednesday through Saturday, noon to 6 pm, or Sunday, noon to 4 pm. They will be open on First Friday for Give Local York from noon to 9 pm and welcome your donation!

Serving everyone. Caring for you.

Family First Health is a nonprofit, Federally Qualified Health Center with 10 convenient locations in York, Adams, Lancaster, and Lebanon counties. We provide accessible, high-quality primary medical and dental care, optometry, integrated behavioral health and substance use services, and a wide range of community health programs. Our uniquely qualified team of health care professionals creates an environment that is patient-centered, helping patients to live happier, healthier lives. We offer our services to anyone seeking care, regardless of ability to pay or insurance status. And with bilingual staff on-site, as well as on-demand translation services, we are able to care for any individual regardless of native language.

At our heart, we are a community health center, comprised of a dedicated team of doctors, dentists, clinical support staff, community health workers, and administrative professionals focused on making a difference. Our patients are welcomed and treated in state-of-the-art medical and dental office settings located in the communities where they live and work.

Last year, Family First Health provided access to health services for more than 28,000 patients – individuals and families, children and adults, insured and uninsured. Medical and dental services ranging from routine family medicine and dental exams, to immunizations and preventative care, to integrated behavioral and mental health and substance use support. Innovative and community-based services like our mobile school dentistry and mobile community healthcare programs; our Caring Together program providing coordinated medical care and access to HIV support services; and our Nurse-Family Partnership supporting first-time mothers at home.

This year during Give Local York, join us to support our health centers at Hannah Penn PreK-8 and William Penn Senior High School with access to medical services, behavioral health support, and tools to continue making healthy decisions as adults. Your donation today makes it possible for Family First Health to build healthier communities by helping our students live healthier, happier lives!

“We improve lives: in big and small ways. From high quality health services and innovative partnership to daily acts of compassion. In all ways, we work together to improve lives.”
