The Lawilowan American Indian Festival Inc (LAIF) began in 2007. And in addition, Muddy Run Powwow was established in 2009.

These two Powwows occur in two different locations in south-central Pennsylvania. Firstly Laif Lawilowan American Indian Festival is in March ( Looking for a new venue for 2024). In September, The Muddy Run Powwow is at the Steam-O-Rama grounds, 1673 Manor Road, Windsor, PA 17366. We would like to introduce and educate the general public about the vast array of Native American Cultures. We have been very fortunate to have built excellent relationships with exceptional drummers/singers, dancers, artisans, flute players, and Masters of Ceremonies from across the United States. We rely on their shared knowledge of our Native American community to promote awareness and education of Native American Culture. We want to invite everyone to come and celebrate our living and evolving traditions.

Ultimately we would like to find a permanent home somewhere in the York County area, where we could have our two Powwows and have a Cultural center to teach. We can only do this with your support and donations. Thank you very much.
