Therapy through Joy: Help us Bring an Aquarium to Our Residents

Imagine the joy and comfort your pets bring to your life. Our residents at the Margaret E. Moul Home experience similar joy when you bring your dogs, cats, or rabbits for visits. Their faces light up with happiness! Unfortunately, these visits are often too short, and we can't have pets like those permanently at the Home.

However, there is a pet that can live at the Home and bring continuous joy and comfort to our residents: fish in an aquarium! The residents have expressed a desire to have a fish tank installed in the front living room for their enjoyment. The therapeutic benefits of such an addition are numerous:

- Stress Reduction: Watching fish swim can be incredibly calming and help reduce stress and anxiety.

- Improved Mood: The vibrant colors and gentle movements of fish can lift spirits and improve overall mood.

- Enhanced Social Interaction: An aquarium can serve as a focal point for conversation and social interaction among residents.
