The Penn-Mar Irish Festival is held annually on the third Saturday in June in southern York County. In 2025, we're moving to a new location! Please join us at Pheasant Run Greenhouse & Garden Center in Glen Rock, just north of the MD/PA border. The festival features high-quality traditional and contemporary Irish music and dance featuring regional performers plus some special guests who are nationally- and internationally-known. The day also features cultural workshops, a variety of Irish-themed vendors, a free children's activity area, plus food and beverages.
Our 2025 lineup includes the following performers:
Albannach
Cas Ceol
Cassie & Maggie
Clann Redmond
Diddley Idols
Enda Reilly
Runa
Susquehanna Pipes & Drums
Tartan Terrors
McGinley School of Irish Dance
Ni Riain School of Irish Dance
We’re very proud to be featuring “Blazing a Trail Exhibition: Lives and Legacies of Irish Diaspora Women” at our festival this year. This exhibition highlights the lives and legacies of 21 Irish diaspora women in the fields of politics, humanitarianism, women’s suffrage, the arts, the sciences, and sport. They represent just a fraction of the many women who made lasting contributions in their areas of work, but who have rarely received recognition.
Blazing a Trail is provided courtesy of EPIC, The Irish Emigration Museum.
We sincerely thank you in advance for your generosity to help make this community cultural event a success. We are an all-volunteer committee and community support is vital to our success.
We also sincerely thank the Cultural Alliance of York County for providing Arts Match funds.
Featuring some of the best Irish musicians (traditional and contemporary) in Pennsylvania and Maryland, along with special guests from farther away, plus Irish dancers, a Celtic Cultural Arts Tent funded by the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, Irish food, children’s activities, and a wide variety of vendors offering Irish goods including gifts, clothing, jewelry, music, books, pottery, photography, stained glass, and more.
The 2020 festival was canceled due to COVID-19. Donations through Give Local York will help us cover expenses already incurred (printing, advertising, promotional items, band deposits, etc.). Advance ticket sales and vendor booth fees were returned. Thank you in advance for your consideration.
