What we do: PIRC provides free legal education and representation to immigrants in York and surrounding counties, who are:

1)  in need of stabilizing their immigration status so that they can remain with their families, seek employment, and find a secure future.

2) facing deportation from the United States.

2) survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking.

Originating out of grassroots efforts over 30 years ago, today the Pennsylvania Immigration Resource Center's provides free, high-quality legal services so that immigrants and their families have access to justice and a more secure future.

Mission

PIRC’s mission is to serve vulnerable immigrants through legal services, education and advocacy to ensure access to justice. Founded in 1996, the Pennsylvania Immigration Resource Center (PIRC) is a unique service provider in Lancaster County (and the region) of free legal services to immigrant survivors of domestic and sexual violence and human trafficking, and to Lancaster County residents held in immigration detention at the York County Prison.
