Our Story

🐾 Meet Tabby Trappers PA — York County’s Feral Cat Heroes! 🐾

Tabby Trappers started in April 2020 with a simple mission: help the community cats of York County live healthier, happier lives — while reducing overpopulation the humane way.

Our small-but-mighty team of just five dedicated volunteers travels across the county trapping community cats, transporting them for spay/neuter surgeries and vaccinations, and returning them safely to the places they call home. We also step in for the toughest cases — rescuing injured cats, rehabilitating the sick, and finding placement for tiny kittens who are too young to be fixed.

And guess what? Even though we’re small, we’re fierce.Since launching, look what this little team has accomplished:

✨ 2020: 636 cats✨ 2021: 782 cats✨ 2022: 616 cats✨ 2023: 729 cats

That’s thousands of cats who now have healthier, safer lives — and thousands more kittens who were never born into hardship.

🌟 Our 2026 Goal: Gear Up, Trap More Cats, Change More Lives

This year, with your help, we hope to:

  • Upgrade our volunteers’ safety gear

  • Purchase more traps so we can respond to more calls, faster

  • Expand our community education efforts

  • Continue providing hands-on help to the cats who need it most

Your donation today means we can keep showing up for outdoor cats across York County — especially the ones who have no one else looking out for them.

🐱 A Tiny Donation Makes a Huge Pawprint

Did you know…Two unaltered adult cats can lead to 2,000 cats in just four years — and an unbelievable 2 MILLION in eight years.

That means by donating to fix even one cat, you could be preventing the suffering of millions of future kittens. You’re not just helping a single animal — you’re protecting an entire community.
