Windy Hill on the Campus is a drop-in activity center for older adults living in Spring Grove, Hanover and surrounding communities. The programs offered at the center include health and fitness, life-long learning, nutrition, and socialization. Approximately 1,400 non-duplicated seniors are served annually with various programs and services. Each year, Windy Hill provides over 21,000 hot lunch-time meals to over 700 older adults for no charge. In addition, the center provides seven meals weekly to over 70 homebound seniors living in the Spring Grove and Hanover communities. Programs offered at the center provide opportunities for seniors to stay healthy, engaged, and active thus keeping them independent and living in their own homes. Donations made to the center help to provide these worthwhile programs for little to no cost for our older adults.

Background Statement
The Windy Hill Senior Center was incorporated in March of 1985 at the West York Church of the Brethren in York, PA. Since then we've been at one other location besides our current location on the Spring Grove Area School District's main campus.

For many older adults, Windy Hill Senior Center is more than a place to attend activities—it is a lifeline. Seniors come to us seeking friendship, purpose, nutritious meals, and opportunities to remain active and independent. Yet increasing costs and limited fixed incomes mean that many cannot fully access the services they need. Your generosity helps close this gap, ensuring every senior who walks through our doors feels supported, valued, and connected.
