The Women’s Care Center is the largest pregnancy resource center in the United States, proudly serving as a vital support system for pregnant women and families in need. Although we have been serving the York community since 1990, we opened our doors on 40 South Richland Avenue in 2018 as Pennsylvania's first and only Women's Care Center.
We are dedicated to providing a safe haven where moms find care, love, and hope in what may feel like hopeless circumstances. We are here to make sure no woman walks the path of pregnancy alone, ensuring woman feels valued and supported, walking with her from the moment she finds out she is pregnant up until the early stages of childhood.
Our skilled comprehensive care includes pregnancy tests, non-diagnostic ultrasounds to confirm viability, compassionate counseling, prenatal education, parenting classes, Strong Fathers classes, and direct access to essential services and resources that promote the well-being of both mom and baby. All our services are non-judgmental, confidential, and most importantly, they are completely FREE.
Our mission to build strong, nurturing families in the York community is strongly supported by our commitment to empower parents with the confidence, skills, and nurturing qualities they need for effective caregiving through our parenting class program, setting children on the right path from the very start. We recognize that many of the amazing moms we serve face challenges that can feel overwhelming, often compounded by a lack of a reliable support system. Women’s Care Center strives to be a true community - a village where mothers can connect, share experiences, and access resources that will empower them throughout their pregnancy and parenting journey. We are building a sense of community!

We are a pregnancy help center, serving the York Community since 1990. We opened our doors at 40 South Richland Avenue in York on January 12, 2018, as Pennsylvania's very first Womens Care Center, a nationally based organization dedicated to assisting women, babies and families. We offer free pregnancy testing, ultrasounds, crisis counseling and direct support services to other social service agencies. We also offer a variety of educational programs designed to meet the changing needs of the community we serve. These efforts are supported by a 24 hour crisis hotline. All of our services are non-judgmental, confidential and free. All donations to our Womens Care Center stay right here in York, PA.
