The WELL Food Pantry, has it's pulse on the community of York PA. Since 1983, we have been caring for our neighbors in need. Located in the basement of Union Lutheran Church at Penn Street and Market, we serve many in the 17401 Zip Code which is the highest area of food insecurity in York County.
Last year was our 40th year of providership, and in that calendar year the need for our services increased by 30%. Inner city churches, where our organization was founded, have seen a dramatic shift in attendance since our inception. We continue to be grateful to the churches that do support us at this time. . We now though, more than ever, require community donations and funding and indiviual donations to keep our doors open.

In addition to FOOD, diapers, formula, adult supplies, produce, personal care supplies, paper needs, prescription assistance, emergency care, passes, holiday boxes and gifts, children's bags and drinks are all provided.
Our resources need replenished every day! Won't you hlep us provide these most basic of necessities for those folks in need in York?
We are a faith based food pantry delivering food and prescriptions and emergency to the the city and country residents of York, PA. In operation for over 36 years we serve over 4500 clients per year, including the elderly, veterans, families with infants and children and simply those who are in need of food. Located in the City of York, at the rear of Union Lutheran Church, we welcome those in need, by appointment each Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday morning, and the second Saturday morning of the month.
