Transparency in giving
At the White Rose Leadership Institute, we value transparency in giving. That's why we provide disclosures to donors about their gifts made via GLY365 in accordance with applicable Pennsylvania state laws and don't hide the processing fee for credit card gifts.
GLY365 Disclosures
Here's what you need to know about the process and timeline we follow when getting donations to the York County nonprofit causes you love. (Please forgive the legalese!)
In accordance with applicable laws, the White Rose Leadership Institute has exclusive legal control over the contributed assets and is fully committed to carrying out the purpose of your gift. The White Rose Leadership Institute is a 501(c)(3) public charity and contributions are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law. Its Tax-ID is 83-1246505.
The selected charity may not receive a grant funded by your contribution if it is no longer recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) organization, has had its Pennsylvania tax-exempt status revoked by the Franchise Tax Board, or is no longer in good standing with the Pennsylvania Registry of Charities and Fundraisers. If it continues to qualify to receive a grant, the grant will be made no later than 30 days after the end of the month of your contribution to allow us time to process the grant.
A 1% “fee” will be retained by the White Rose Leadership Institute to offset associated technology, processing, and management costs.
GLY365 Fees
We’re committed to being transparent about how GLY365 works and that includes clarity around fees. Each donation made through MightyCause is assessed a fee:
- 3% platform fee to cover platform and operational costs for MightyCause
- 2.5% plus $0.30 Credit Card Processing Fee to cover transaction costs and disbursement processing by the MightyCause Charitable Foundation.
- 1% fee plus $1.50 Fixed Fee will replace the CC processing fees on all ACH donations (ACH Fees are capped at $5.00 per transaction)
When you make a donation to GLY365, you can elect to cover the fee. During our last Give Local York event, 92% of donors helped cover the fee for the nonprofit(s) they supported. We thank them for their generosity!
