15 Years of York Academy!

For 15 years, York Academy has been my home. I've taught over 300 first graders and had the pleasure of watching many of them as they move through the Lower School, and then the Upper School, all the way to graduation. That's one of the things I love about York Academy...I get to see my first grade babies change and grow into young adults.  

In 2018, I was hoisted onto the roof by a fire truck to spend the night up there when we hit our goal of raising $5000 (from penny wars!) the very first year of Give Local York. Over the years, the amount raised during this one day of giving has continued to grow. Every penny donated goes to supporting our students from Kindergarten through graduation.

This year, I was tasked with being one of 15 staff members to get 15 people to donate $15 in honor of our 15 years. If you're interested in being one of my 15, please donate!
