We’re not just talking about workforce development—we’re making it happen.

• 500+ students introduced to construction careers through Construction Career Days since 2018
• 550+ students connected with employers through Building Trades Career Fairs since 2022
• 110+ students trained through our Pre-Apprenticeship Program since 2022

Each number represents a student gaining direction, skills, and access to real opportunities in the trades.

Why It Matters

The construction trades are essential to our economy, our communities, and our future. Yet, the skilled workforce shortage continues to grow.

At the Workforce NOW Foundation, we’re working to change that, right here in York County.

We open doors for young people to explore meaningful, in-demand careers, many of which do not require a college degree, but offer strong wages, long-term stability, and opportunities for advancement.

Through partnerships with hundreds of local employers, we’re not just raising awareness, we’re creating direct pathways to employment. These companies are ready to train, mentor, and hire the next generation of skilled professionals.
