Education is one of the most important resources that we can provide to the upcoming generations. In York City, that resource is not available to many families. The overcrowded public school district is failing and only those that can afford a different option are able to receive a higher quality education. Keystone Christian Academy (KCA) is seeking to change that. Located in the heart of York City, KCA serves families not only in York City, but it many of the surrounding school districts all around York County. KCA's goal is to be able to give parents the hope of a quality education in a safe environment without cost being prohibitive for their kids. Scholarships, funded by generous donors, are available for students so that cost does not keep them from success. 

At Keystone Christian Academy, we also have the opportunity to teach students about God, Jesus, and the Christian faith. Students and families do not need to be professing Christians to attend KCA, giving us the opportunity to spread the gospel to the students and their families. For those that are believers, KCA helps to train them in the truths of the Bible to become the best follower of God that they can be.

As the Athletic Director, I have the opportunity to build an athletics program from the ground up for KCA. The goal of the athletics program will be to incorporate extracurricular sports into KCA's model to help students continue to grow holistically. With over 8.2 million students playing on sports teams last year, research shows that student-athletes generally maintain higher GPAs, higher attendance, and fewer disciplinary issues; student-athletes are 15% more likely to attend college; women who played sports are 73% more likely to earn a college degree within six years; and participants are 92% less likely to get involved with drugs and 80% less likely to get pregnant.
