Bentley's Pay Day

 I saw 4 Paws 4 A Cause on the news and decided that I wanted to try and have my boy become a service dog for me since I am diabetic. My sugar has a tendency to get real low real fast and I needed some help with knowing when that was gonna happen. We started in early 2022, passed our certification test that October and he has been my service dog ever since. 

We got Bentley when he was six months old from an Amish farm and he’s done great. Everybody was so worried about him not doing good when we first started with him because he is a herding dog. But I believe he has become one of the best dogs in the whole group. Training doesn't stop just because he passed the certification test. We still go to Post Certification Training as much as my health allows.  He is my best friend and my best buddy and he keeps me safe every day.
