What do many of the White Rose Senior Center Members enjoy?

They love Parties, Trips, Food Distributions, Yoga and Zumba classes, Art Classes, Meeting Friends, Learning New Things and yes, Playing Bingo!

Your support will help to offset expenses for craft supplies and allow us to bring more of the Arts Council into the Center. "Aging Our Way in PA" (formally known as The PA Master Plan) is focused on bringing the Arts to older adults.

Food insecurity is real at White Rose Senior Center. We hold 3 food distributions each month and have over 500 different families come through the door for food assistance. Your donation helps keep the program running and offering support to those in need. Parties and games, in-person and virtually, help to keep people connected.

This May is Older American's Month. We take the month to honor and recognize the invaluable impact of older adults in our communities. This year’s theme, "Flip the Script on Aging," challenges outdated narratives and highlights the vibrant, dynamic, and influential roles that older adults play in society.

White Rose Senior Center is more than just a place to have a meal. It is a place where friendships grow, where knowledge is gained by speakers offering health programs, and a place to have fun!

The mission of the White Rose Senior Center is to be a place in the community where people, no matter how life has challenged them, can share talents and skills, find comfort and solace, and receive support and services as they experience life.

The philosophy of the White Rose Senior Center is that all seniors of the Greater York community shall be treated with dignity and respect. The Center utilizes the skills and talents of seniors, volunteers, Board of Directors, and staff to promote the quality of life in our community. The Center is a dynamic resource in the community.
